Yeah it looks good and will be a pretty good game to get for the 360 but is it ground breaking? No, it's another zombie game. It will be a great stop-gap for the wait before RE5 but it will be nothing more than a blip on the gaming radar for most.
Indeed they are!
Then yeah, expect to have problems with 4 kids and one DS. And, who the heck has 4 kids and wouldn't consider buying one for each of them. They're not that expensive.
And that is why they will never be a top notch developer. When companies like Infinity Ward can make a completely multiplatform game and make it awesome, that is when you see true development beauty. If Valve wants to stick to what's easy for them then they will always be second and third best but never first. I hope they are content being a "joe somebody".
My argument is flawed? So you have data that shows all gamerscore whores rent and pirate games to fuel their needs? No sir, your argument is flawed. You assume too much and thus prove that your stereotypes are completely off base. Try again there foolish little buddy. Sticking your head in the sand doesn't make it all go away...
FRICKING AWESOME!
I love off road racing, especially when it is done in the arcade style and Motorstorm delivers. MS2 looks to be an improvement on an already cool franchise. Kudos.
I most of all understand the draw to them but warn others to their draw to buy poorly developed games. As long as people have fun I guess that's all it's about but supporting developers that sell a game with easy achievements and poor development tends to make me concerned. I hate shovelware and it seems that in some cases, the achievements and gamer score has only fueled the fire for crappy devs to shovel out more crap titles knowing that there are those who would buy their games just for th...
No thanks, I'll just browse with my PS3 or PC. If the 360 can't have this out of the box and with no need for a PC then I say boo on MS for not thinking about the end user and what THEY would like in their console. Why not offer it up? It's just another option and to have it on the consoles is a cool thing IMHO.
For an extra fee.
;-)
But the movie sounds tits. I will have to make that this weekends priority. Sounds like a definite BD movie purchase for the big 1080p LCD!
I once thought as you do but came to the conclusion that it also supports buying some pretty crap games to gain points. I am guilty of the whole "yeah the game sucks but at least it got my score up higher" argument and now realize that it was just giving me reason to promote and condone some poor developers. At the moment, I no longer even bother with the achievements and if I get any when I play the game then great, if not then I don't bother. They were nice when that is what I wan...
Heck yeah I did Kojima!!!
But making the jump in sales is just what the 360 needed. The PS3 has been in the top 10 for weeks, and weeks now so it was about time that something gave the 360 that big push it needed to break the top 50. Good news!
I was right. Even taking a quick look at Amazon.com you can see that in the top 25, GTA4 is ranking in the top 10 while the PS3 is ranking right up there as well. The 360 however is not, it is somwhere close to 40th place. It's not gospel but it is evident that GTA4 is more of a system seller for the PS3 than it is for the 360. It is a game that will help close the gap between the two consoles in total lifetime sales and will help make this years holiday season very interesting.
This is true but as of right now, there are many more great titles on the PS3 than just GTA4 and GTP:5. They may buy it for one game in some cases but what they are getting is a legacy of great first year titles and some awesome games to come.
It's good to see that they are a broad business in the sense that they have other offerings in the consumers market. Not only do they do well in TV's but in cameras, and video gaming machines. It's nice to see that they are still in the game and don't look to be getting out any time soon.
It is selling like hot cakes! And it's the PSP's versatility that sold me on them. I love being able to browse the web, Skype my friends, play games, watch movies and listen to music on this little device. It's a great, all in one handheld console.
Is this on the 360 version? If so then it is a big fat nothing. If it is not then I would begin to wonder. Can somebody confimr that it is indeed in the 360 version?
Regardless, if they do release the option to buy an add-on, it will in fact not be the cheapest. Why? Simple, you have to buy the Xbox to use it or you use it on your PC and that is not something you will see the mass market taking in very well. It might be the deal for the hardcore but not for the general public.
Your bias sticks out like a sore thumb too little buddy. You chose to pick at Sony for a few details that have either one, been rectified due to user complaints, or two, have no bearing on my fondness for the already great experience in gaming on the PS3. One thing that the PS3 has that the 360 does not that will always stand out and that is a reputation for reliability. I could go on but you get the point. I would rather be stuck having to buy a 7 dollar HDMI cable than to have the hassle of...
